DSHS Drift Stopper
Product Details
The DSHS drift stopper is an optional clip designed to prevent horizontal movement in the DSSCB drift strut connector when anchoring cold-formed steel bypass framing to the edge of a floor slab. The DSHS is ideal for panelized construction because it allows the DSSCB to slide into place with no predetermination of the exact clip location. To fix horizontally after the clip is slid into place, the DSHS connects to the DSSCB by a slotted attachment and is fastened to the strut channel with (1) #10-16 screw.

- The stopper is compatible for all DSSCB clip gauges and lengths.
- Works with 7/8" and 1 5/8" strut channels. Common manufactured brands are Unistrut, PHD and B-Line. Struts are not supplied by Simpson Strong-Tie.
- Tabulated design values are based on assembly testing to mitigate risk for designers, engineers and architects.
