Product Details
CNW and ATS-C coupler nuts are used to connect one threaded rod to another and connect to anchor bolts within the Strong-Rod anchor tiedown system for shearwall overturning restraint. CNWs and ATS-C coupler nuts exceed the tensile capacity of the corresponding standard-strength threaded rod. ATS-HSC coupler nuts exceed the tension capacity of the corresponding high-strength threaded rod. All coupler nuts exceed 100% of the tensile capacity and 125% of the yield capacity of the corresponding standard-strength threaded rod.

- Zinc plated, ATS-C couplers nuts available uncoated
Installation
- Tighten the two rods until each all-thread rod can be seen clearly through a Witness® Hole.
- For transition couplers, thread the coupler onto the larger rod first, and then thread the smaller rod into the coupler.

- All ATS couplers available with over-sized threads on one side for use with HDG rod, ATS–Cxx–OST, ATS–HSCxx–OST and ATS–HSSCxx–OST.
- All CNW and HSCNW couplers are zinc plated.
- Couplers in the 1 3/4″ and 2″ series may be cylindrical.
- ATS–HSC couplers are used for both standard–strength and high–strength rods in 1 1/2″, 1 3/4″ and 2″ diameters.
